In the golden years of Scandinavian modernism, Erik Bouer designed this stylish Danish mid - Century sideboard for Brouer Møbelfabrik. Made in the 1960s, executed in warm teak and thought through to the last detail - a wonderful example of functional design with a serene feel.
The ingenious sliding folding doors are striking: a subtle invention that combines elegance and space saving. Behind the doors is a generous layout with open compartments, drawers with green felt bottoms and fine workmanship typical of the craftsmanship of the time. The clean lines, recessed handles and slim legs give this sideboard a lightness that effortlessly complements both vintage interiors and modern settings.
