A sculptural magazine rack in solid teak, made in Denmark in the 1960s. Two folded wooden panels form a sharp zigzag silhouette, joined by knurled brass bolts and standing on slender, tapered legs. It's a functional object treated as a small piece of sculpture, which is exactly what makes Danish mid-century pieces like this so collectible.
The warm teak grain and patinated brass hardware give it real vintage character. It holds magazines, books or records, but works just as well as a standalone design object next to a sofa or reading chair.
A genuine 1960s piece, not a reproduction. Sourced and offered by Infinity Resale in Antwerp.
