Rare oak sideboard designed by Axel O. Röck for Otterup Møbelfabrik, Denmark, 1963. The cabinet features four sliding doors, the two central ones of which are fitted with carved panels with decorative woodcarving. The wavy bottom edge, turned legs, and cross braces give the piece a distinctive presence. The design combines Danish mid-century craftsmanship with clear Baroque and folkloric influences. Behind the sliding doors are shelves and pull-out drawers with green lining. Made of warm oak with a beautiful grain and original patina. Marked on the back by Otterup Møbelfabrik with a date stamp 22 Aug. 1963. In good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with its age and a beautiful patina.
