Danish armchair model FD118 by Grete Jalk for France & Søn, teak frame with reupholstered grey melange wool cushions.
Refined Danish armchair model FD118, designed by Grete Jalk for France & Søn in the 1960s. Crafted in solid teak, it features a two-slat backrest with a gentle incline, combining elegance and comfort in the best tradition of mid-century Danish design.
The frame bears the original France & Søn label. The cushions have been reupholstered in grey melange wool, while the support fabric under the seat cushion shows some age-related stains.
An authentic icon of Danish modernism, valued for its clean lines and exceptional craftsmanship.
