Cute Donguri (Acorn) Kokeshi. The Japanese word for acorn is "donguri"; it is usually written in hiragana. ‘Donguri no seikurabe’ is a Japanese proverb. It literally means ‘comparing the height of acorns’ and refers to ‘there is little to choose from; they are all the same’. The height is 4 cm. Please view the photos for the condition. Please note: the kokeshi dolls are not new, so there will always be scratches, discoloration, and/or cracks present to a greater or lesser extent.
