Landsheer devised separate ceramic elements that could be linked together at will. He christened it 'Schik-keramiek' (Arrangement Ceramics). Just like flowers, the elements could now also be arranged. Consumers appreciated this innovation, and 'Schik-keramiek' remained in the assortment for about 20 years.
The concept behind 'Schik-keramiek' was based on Japanese flower arranging (Ikebana). Instead of a static vase, Landsheer devised loose elements that you could combine and 'arrange' according to your own discretion.
