This special Marimekko Unikko rug, produced by Brink & Campman, is a unique design object in a dark blue colorway that was never put into production. A rare version of a globally iconic design.
The Unikko pattern was designed by Maija Isola and emerged from a creative statement within Marimekko. Defying conventions, she created a powerful collection of graphic floral patterns, which led to Unikko becoming one of the most recognizable patterns in the international design world. To this day, it symbolizes freedom, courage, and timeless modernism.
This rug has a generous size of 200 × 300 cm and a deep pile, creating a luxurious and comfortable feel.
