Louis van Teeffelen designs several beautiful pieces of furniture for the WéBé company in the 1960s that excel in material choice and design. The organic shapes are very striking and reminiscent of Scandinavian design, but this furniture is really of Dutch design and manufacture.
The rounded and beautifully shaped legs make this table a special specimen. The table top seems to float above the base. The magazine rack is a framework of teak with braided rattan.
Given its age, the table has limited signs of use such as scratches and dents. This table has a teak top with beautiful markings.
The top has been stripped of its old varnish layers, lightly sanded and put in furniture oil.
