Beautiful mid-century coffee table with an elongated teak top, rounded corners, and a characteristic sculptural base. The woven lower shelf provides space for magazines, books, or decoration and gives the table a lovely, airy appearance.
The design fits within the Dutch mid-century/Dutch Design tradition and is attributed to Louis van Teeffelen for Wébé. There is no label or sticker present.
The table has a warm teak color and a beautiful vintage look. Consistent with its age, there are visible signs of use, including light scratches, small dents, and some wear on the edges and legs. It is actually barely noticeable.
This contributes to the authentic character of the furniture. The woven reading shelf is present and decorative.
