Product description
A beautiful, striking and professional pair of coffee grinders/mills from the 1920s, made in Sweden, Stockholm by A. Jørgensen & co. Kaffekvarns-Aktiebolaget, in technically very good condition, suitable for professional use for many years to come.
The original, pine cabinet is in vintage condition. The cabinet has three drawers at the top. The two drawers on the outside can be used to collect coffee from the grinder above for small portions. These drawers can be moved to a compartment next to it so that the ground coffee goes into the larger drawer below.
At the bottom of the cabinet is the new electric motor that drives both mills simultaneously. The motor has a connection of 2x220 volts.
The cast iron mills each have a different steel grinding stone, one for a coarse grind and the other for a finer grind. In addition, both mills also have variable settings. The bearings of both mills are perfect. Both mills are mechanically in perfect condition and can last for decades to come.
The original coffee containers that rest on the mills are made of copper. These have undergone visible solder repairs in several places over the years. The copper containers are each 60 cm high and 25 cm in diameter.
