A truly fantastic designer coat rack by Pilastro, designed in the 1950s by Coen de Vries. A true Dutch design product. The coat rack is in good condition.

In 1955, C.V. Reijenga's Apparatenbouw on Prinsengracht in Amsterdam began producing "modern wall and book racks" under the name Pilastro furniture, following the example of the String wall units. These were sold in furniture stores and De Bijenkorf.
