Offered for sale: a very beautiful, complete three-piece dining table set from the high-quality Dutch brand Stijlvorm Meubelen (mid-century, 1960s/1970s).
The set consists of a round, extendable dining table and two matching chairs in classic Chippendale / Queen Anne style.
Both the table and the chairs feature beautifully detailed cabriole legs that end in the iconic 'claw-and-ball' style (claw-and-ball feet).
The original factory stickers from Stijlvorm Meubelen are still on the furniture as proof of authenticity and rock-solid craftsmanship.
The table can easily be made larger and oval: the original extension leaf is conveniently and invisibly stored on the underside of the tabletop.
The two chairs are very comfortable and feature a still fully intact, gold-yellow upholstered seat with a royal baroque pattern.
Condition:
The set is in very beautiful and stable vintage condition. The woodwork has a beautiful, deep sheen with only minimal, superficial signs of use consistent with its age. There are absolutely no deep scratches or rings on the tabletop. The chair upholstery is clean, shows no tears or holes, and the padding is still wonderfully resilient.
The extension mechanism works perfectly.
Table diameter (folded): approx. 110 cm
Table length (extended): approx. 150 cm
Table height: approx. 75 cm
The set can be picked up in Purmerend.
Please arrange for suitable transport yourself and possibly someone to help lift; it is a heavy and solid quality set. (If sold via Whoppah, transport can also be arranged via the platform).
