This beautiful Chinese/Tibetan paper scroll, titled *Two Ladies*, is a refined work of art that celebrates the elegance and subtlety of traditional Asian art. The work is a tribute to the renowned artist Chang Dai Chien, known for his masterful brushwork and attention to detail.

What makes this paper scroll extra special is that it was acquired in 1989, during the violent uprising between Tibet and China, by my brother, who was there at the time. He managed to escape the area just in time. The scroll is
most likely from a much earlier date, around 1967.
A unique paper scroll, original, and with an extraordinarily special story.
The artist left China at that time. Born in 1900 and deceased for some time now. The roll has retained its beautiful blue hue. With just a few strokes, this roll tells multiple stories.
The shades of the background silk on the paper will certainly have faded slightly, but that's inevitable with this paper roll.
