This is a charming Chinese ginger jar, made of porcelain and complete with lid. The piece is a beautiful example of the traditional Famille Rose style, known for its vibrant and detailed hand-painted decorations. The jar is made of white porcelain and is richly decorated with cartouches depicting scenes and floral motifs, including the characteristic peony. The color palette is dominated by pink and green hues, complemented by gold-colored accents along the edges of the lid and the jar itself. With a height of approximately 9.5 cm, it is a fine and decorative object. The 'Made in China' stamp on the bottom indicates production for export, likely from the mid-20th century.
