This extraordinary piece of furniture was produced in Italy in the 1970s and is attributed to the designer Renato Zevi, who is known for his luxurious designs using modern materials. It is a modular chest of drawers system consisting of three individual cabinets that can be combined individually or used separately. The most striking feature is the front design made of gold-colored mirrored glass, which gives the furniture a sophisticated, almost glamorous appearance. The smooth surfaces reflect the light elegantly and create an interplay of depth and shine.
The body design is kept in a deep black, presumably with a matt laminate or an opaque coated surface, while the top panels are made of black opal glass. These form an exciting contrast to the glossy fronts. Discreet brass profiles frame the drawer and door surfaces and give the ensemble an additional high-quality, almost art deco-inspired frame. The precision of the workmanship is particularly noteworthy, for example on the flush-mounted handles, which are designed as small, cylindrical brass pins with a round end.
The ensemble consists of an element with four drawers, a two-door middle segment with adjustable inner shelf and a further cabinet with asymmetrical door division. All modules have a discreetly proportioned skirting board that makes the furniture appear to float. Thanks to its modular design, the ensemble can be used flexibly - whether as a sideboard in the living area, as storage in the office or as a luxurious base for a bar or media use.

The overall condition of the furniture ensemble is good with signs of wear commensurate with its age. The mirrored fronts show minor scratches and matt areas, but these do not significantly impair the effect of the furniture. The brass edge on the top edge of one corner of the chest of drawers with drawers is broken off, which is documented in some of the photos. The insides of the cupboards and the shelves appear well cared for and show only slight signs of wear. All in all, the piece is in an authentic and decorative condition that is well preserved for its age.
