The Galerie Les Merciers is pleased to present this iconic piece of office design: the famous "Executive Chair," designed by American architect Charles Pollock in 1963 and produced by Knoll International. Presented here in a sumptuous burgundy leather version, this chair combines exceptional seating comfort with a timeless architectural line, accentuated by its signature chromed aluminum rim.
■ EXPERTISE AND AUTHENTICITY
This piece guarantees perfect provenance, highly sought after by collectors. It belongs to a generation of production recognized by its distinctive markings:
The "Knoll International" name is directly stamped into the metal at the base of the frame.
A remnant of the original manufacturer's label is still present on the chromed rim.

Seat: Fixed-height swivel mechanism.
Base: 5-star chrome base, equipped with its original, smooth-rolling, and fully functional casters.
Shell: Textured black back shell, emblematic of the model.
■ CONDITION REPORT (Transparency Gallery)
This armchair has been rigorously inspected, cleaned, and conditioned in our workshop with a professional leather cream. It is in very good vintage condition:
The Leather: The burgundy upholstery is supple, taut, and shows absolutely no tears. For complete transparency, we note a fine surface scratch on the seat (visible in the detail photos). This is very discreet, superficial, and does not weaken the material in any way.
Frame & Chrome: The chrome trim is bright and in good condition. The black polymer shell shows normal wear and tear and surface scuffs, primarily on the upper part of the backrest, inherent to its previous use.
