Product description
Extendable dining table from the ‘Japan’ series by Cees Braakman, produced by Pastoe in the Netherlands in the 1960s. Model TU11.
The table features a solid wengé wood frame with a veneered tabletop that has been recently restored. Its refined, minimalist design is complemented by a remarkably sturdy construction. Beneath the tabletop, a concealed extension leaf is integrated into an ingenious sliding mechanism, allowing the table to expand seamlessly while preserving its elegant appearance.
In very good condition with minor signs of a previous life as shown in the pictures.
