A recent painting by artist and filmmaker Awik Balaian. Awik Balaian is very well known for his early work in Dutch blockbuster "Crusade in Jeans", animated music video for famous opera singers Rolando Vilazon and Cicilia Bartoli. About 150 illustrations of Dante's Inferno. And work as Scenic Artist at National Opera and Ballet in Amsterdam. As filmmaker he has been part of international film festivals from Cannes to Warsaw. Most of his works are surrealistic and creation of his own world, inspired by ancient mythology and classical literature and music.
