In 1922, Le Corbusier began working in his new studio on the Rue de Sèvres in Paris, together with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret.
In this profound and lifelong professional relationship, they shared research projects and design criteria.
In October 1927, they decided to enlist the help of a young architect who had already made a name for himself in the architectural world: Charlotte Perriand.
Their collaboration lasted until 1937 and was very fruitful, particularly in the field of furniture design.
The partnership was of great significance, both in terms of the cultural value of their achievements and their professional successes.
Together with Charlotte Perriand, they embarked on the innovative project for "l'équipement d'intérieur de l'habitation" (interior design).
The resulting designs were of great intellectual value and a significant commercial success.
Thanks to the continued production of Cassina, interest remains in the conceptual content of the work and the quality achieved. Due to these characteristics, every item in the collection is eagerly awaited.
