The Proust Geometrica by Cappellini is a work of art in its own right. The entire armchair is handmade: The carving from beech wood, the painting, the upholstering and even the painting of the furniture fabric. This furniture exudes craftsmanship.
The designer of this armchair is none other than Alessandro Mendini. This Italian designer is known in the Netherlands, among other things, for his design of the Groninger Museum, but the Mendini-Haus in Hannover and Galleria Mendini in Lörrach are also thanks to Mendini.
The Proust armchair is a real statement piece in any home. It demands attention and space.
