Large candleholder in patinated brass and amber-tinted blown glass by Hans-Agne Jakobsson for Markaryd, Claudia model. This candleholder features an ingenious spring system concealed in the foot for the candle. It is in good overall condition, with slight oxidation, and the glassware is in very good condition. REF: NTR3240923A Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919-2009) was a renowned Swedish lighting designer. He worked closely with the Swedish company Markaryd to produce iconic lighting fixtures. Their partnership produced timeless design pieces that left their mark on mid-century Scandinavian aesthetics.
