This modular wall system is a design by Poul Cadovius for Royal System, an iconic example of Danish design from the mid-twentieth century. The system distinguishes itself through its flexible construction and the warm appearance of the teak wood, making it a beloved piece of furniture for lovers of Scandinavian design.
The furniture is crafted from teak wood and veneer, and consists of various elements including shelves, a drawer unit, a small display cabinet with glass sliding doors, and a flap cabinet that can serve as a secretary desk or writing desk. The modular construction with wooden uprights and metal supports allows the layout to be customized to your liking. The system displays the characteristic clean lines and functionality of the Mid-Century Modern period.
There are a total of 15 shelves and 9 'uprights', as well as the other elements as shown in the photos.
The wall system is in functional condition with visible signs of use and age. The elements require proper care and repair, and a number of elements were damaged during a home burglary.
