Product description
I designed and created this hanging "Burning Glass" in 1999 for an office in Groningen.
The object consists entirely of 10mm float glass fragments glued with crystal clear Dow Corning silicone.
Due to relocation, this light object is no longer applicable for the owner. We cleaned it in our Atelier, checked it and converted it to LED. (Now with 7 Ecobright 360° 2700k dimmable LEDs) The edition is : 2. So this is no 1 of two. Signed and numbered.
I offer this unique object on behalf of the owner for 4000 euros, far too little of course but if it remains unsold it disappears from sight in a storage somewhere....
Please note it weighs 40 kilos (That is about what a large chandelier of copper with glass beads chandelier also weighs).

Note: It weighs 40 kilos. That's about the weight of a large copper / glass bead chandelier.
