1970s Spanish Brutalist serving tray in the style of artist David Marshall, highly recognized Scottish artist and metalworker artist inspired by mountainous surroundings in southern Spain. Cast aluminum with contrasting brass handles and inset brass details. One available. The softly irregular and reflective silver-toned aluminum body has a hand-worked, freeform appearance, while the warm brass handles and inset brass winged details create the mixed-metal contrast, iconic of his work. The low rectangular form makes it functional as a serving tray, drinks tray, coffee table tray or catchall. Dimensions: Height: 4 cm / 1.6 in Width including handles: 46 cm / 18.1 in Width without handles: 40 cm / 15.7 in Depth: 28 cm / 11 in Weight: 1.7 kg / 3.7 lb Condition: Good vintage condition with visible scratches, surface marks, patina and oxidation consistent with age and previous use.
