Handcrafted mixed metal dodo sculpture built from layered brass snippets and oxidised copper sections — the expressive feather-by-feather technique characteristic of 1960s brutalist metal sculpture in the manner of Sergio Bustamante. Brass laminate body, copper head and wing panels, flat cut webbed foot base. Unsigned.
11.5 × 7 × 11 cm.
Very good vintage condition. Age-related patina, some lacquer wear on the feet/base, and a couple of slightly distorted metal elements consistent with age.
