A vintage French brutalist dining chair set in solid elm and cognac leather, made by Maison Regain in France during the estimated 1970s. This set of 4 Maison Regain dining chairs combines warm elm wood, patinated saddle leather, sculptural French modern proportions and a strong rustic brutalist design language, making it a characterful and collectible seating set for a curated interior.

The chairs have a strong architectural silhouette, with solid elm frames, square legs, exposed joinery and leather seats and backrests that appear to be original to the set. One wooden upright shows a visible hairline crack near the seat connection. The leather is original, which adds to the character and collectible value of the set. The chairs are structurally solid and ready for use.
