This Brutalist armchair from the 1970s originates from France and was crafted in the distinctive style of designers such as Charles Dudouyt and Francis Jourdain. Made from heavy, dark-patinated oak. A particular highlight is the notched carving on the front legs and the front frame. Both the seat and the backrest feature an ornate, diagonally woven rush weave. The armchair has wide, flat armrests and stands on sturdy sled-leg bases.
