A rare commemorative bronze plaque by Roman master Mario Benedetto Robazza (1934-2020), the sculptor of the Ronald Reagan bust at the White House and the Dante Museum in Rocca Priora, with its famous 90-square-meter frieze on Hell. A gold-brown patinated bronze relief, irregularly octagonal in shape, mounted on an original dark walnut veneered wooden base. The work depicts an architectural composition with a strong radial/sunburst effect: a long horizontal structure (dam/bridge-viaduct) with a pyramidal pylon—typical of ENEL commemorative plaques and those for infrastructure inaugurations in the 1970s and 1980s. Hand-signed: "Robazza" engraved on the bronze + "ROBAZZA" brass plaque on the wood. A piece of Mid-Century/Brutalist Italian design perfect for an entryway, study, or industrial memorabilia collection. Not a tourist souvenir, it's a small, signature sculpture.
