Product description
Authentic 19th-century Napoleon III period three-light table or mantelpiece candelabra in the eclectic style. Louis XVI style inspired by 18th-century creations for the royal court. The base is a truncated pyramid with canted corners, richly chiseled with a garland of hanging pearls, festooned drapery, and a central oval medallion. The decorative background has a period matte, granular finish designed to highlight the brilliance of the polished reliefs. Origin and manufacturing technique: Country of origin: France. Characteristic of Parisian art workshops and bronze casters of the second half of the 19th century. Handcrafted using traditional sand casting techniques. The hollow interior has a coppery color and retains its precious casting grains, a testament to authenticity. File marks are visible (see photos). Ultra-secure shipping.
