The interior has been modified and fitted with modern 2700 Kelvin LED bulbs, each with a light output of 170 lumens, creating a beautiful ambient light. Surgical lamps often have blue glass, which enhances the brightness of the light. It doesn't emit the blue light that some people sometimes think.
This is an original, authentic surgical lamp from the 1960s, which originally hung from the ceiling with a bracket. Braeve Design has redesigned this lamp and designed a new base for it. The lamp itself is completely original, though restored, of course. This lamp has been used for decades, meaning some minor imperfections may be visible, which contributes to its vintage look and feel.
