Behold this brutalist masterpiece by Brakelmann & Becker from the 60s/70s. This is not just a lamp; it's a sculpture of glazed ceramic, expertly mounted on a heavy slab of real slate. Why do you want this object in your life? Burglary prevention: Should there ever be a break-in, you can pull this unit off the wall. Its weight is enough to make unwanted guests immediately reconsider. (But hanging it as a lamp is, of course, more fun). Mood setter 2.0: Screw in two mirrored light bulbs and your wall transforms into a mysterious play of shadows. Perfect for hiding that crooked stucco wall.
