This set of two vintage armchairs was produced by the renowned Dutch furniture manufacturer Bovenkamp in the 1960s. It features a classic configuration consisting of an armchair with a high back and one with a lower back, representing an iconic silhouette within mid-century modern design.
The chairs are crafted with a solid wood frame characteristic of Bovenkamp's high-quality construction methods. The seat and backrest feature the original woven upholstery in a two-tone palette of beige and brown textile. The organically shaped woodwork and the flowing lines of the armrests reflect the strong Scandinavian influences that characterized the brand during this period. The original factory stamp is clearly visible on the underside of the frame.
