This distinctive glass vessel is a handcrafted masterpiece by the renowned Czech designer Bořek Šípek. The piece exemplifies Šípek's signature approach to Bohemian glass, combining traditional craftsmanship with a highly individual, postmodern aesthetic.
Crafted from clear Bohemian crystal, the vessel features a twisted stem and a wide, flared bowl. It is adorned with applied glass elements in vibrant colours, including a red floral motif on the body and contrasting green and blue handles. The piece was produced at the Ajeto glassworks in the Czech Republic under the supervision of master glassblowers Petr Novotný and David Sobotka. The artist's signature is engraved on the base, and the piece is accompanied by its original certificate of authenticity.
The glasswork remains in excellent condition, preserving its structural integrity and the brilliance of the crystal. The applied coloured elements are fully intact, and the engraved signature is clearly legible.
