Oak bookcase from the early 1960s with a two-door storage cabinet below and an upper section combining open shelves and a glass-front showcase with a sliding door.
Refined oak bookcase designed by Marian Grabinsky for IKEA in the early 1960s. The composition balances clarity and function: the lower section features a generous two-door cabinet, while the upper part mixes open compartments with a glass showcase fitted with a sliding door and recessed pull. Shaped legs lighten the silhouette and echo the clean, measured proportions characteristic of Grabinsky’s IKEA series. The warm oak grain adds texture and a distinctly Scandinavian mood.
