This beautiful, striking bracelet was made sometime between the 1960s and 1980s. It is a handmade bracelet featuring lapis lazuli stones set in Tibetan silver with intricate filigree details. The stylized bow/butterfly panels combine traditional Central Asian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern ethnic styles that became popular worldwide during the vintage fashion boom of the mid-20th century. The bracelet has a bohemian look and is definitely a statement piece on the wrist. It fastens with a hook-and-eye clasp.
PLEASE NOTE *1: Tibetan silver is a trade name for silver-colored base metal alloys, not for actual precious metal (so this is not a sterling silver bracelet).
PLEASE NOTE *2: My wrist has a circumference of 17 centimeters. I can wear this bracelet comfortably, and there is some space between the wrist and the bracelet (it hangs a bit, as can be seen in the last photo). I would not recommend this bracelet for a narrower wrist, as the space between the wrist and the bracelet would become too large. I think it fits best on a wrist with a circumference between 17 and 18 centimeters.
Length of the open bracelet: 19 centimeters
Width at the widest point: 2.2 centimeters
