Danish hanging lamp PH 4/3 designed by Poul Henningsen in 1966. The lamp in a blue color was manufactured by the famous company Louis Poulsen. This lamp is one of the last lamps that Poul Henningsen designed before his death in 1967. The hanging lamp spreads part of the light naturally through the multi-piece, creating a soft light. Poul Henningsen was a Danish writer, critic, architect and designer. He is often called the first real lighting architect because he devoted a large part of his life to researching the importance of light for well-being. He focused on creating lamps that produced glare-free lighting. His best-known lamp models are the PH Artichoke, the PH 5 and the PH Contrast lamp. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are 2 dents at the top of the large bowl that are not really noticeable when the lamp is hanging up. The manufacturer's sticker is present inside as a sign of authenticity.
