Product description
Birch II is an original abstract painting from my BARK series. For this series, I drew inspiration from the surprising colors, rhythms, and structures visible in tree bark. In this work, the soft blue tones, sand colors, and organic textures refer to weathered birch bark.
The painting features significant relief and layering. For the texture, I used a self-developed medium in part, giving the surface a strong tactile character and the work an almost sculptural appearance.
