Bertil Vallien (born January 17, 1938 in Stockholm) is a famous Swedish glass artist and designer, best known for his long collaboration with Kosta Boda. He studied at the prestigious Konstfack art school under Stig Lindberg and graduated in 1961. He has been associated with Kosta Boda since 1963, where he creates both utilitarian glasswork and artworks. His work is included in major museums worldwide. Has received multiple awards, including the Visionary Award from the Glass Art Society (GAS).
