Product description
The stool was designed by Thonet and manufactured in former Thonet's factory of Jasienica by FMG; ( Fabryka Mebli Gietych), Poland. The FMG brand, was the result of the nationalization of several Thonet factories, after the Second World War. The design and inspiration for this model, came from the Thonet stool 302/47. The structure is made of bent beechwood . The stool is in good, original and vintage condition, with some marks and signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time (see photos.) on the overall structure, seat, legs; edgings and circle/ ring under the seat as well as patina of age and time (see photos.) An old repair on the ring/ circle (see photo) t. It has only been gently cleaned; oiled ,waxed and polished with respect to its original patina. The stool carries its makers' mark and country of provenance under the seats (see photo.) All photos taken in natural outdoor light, so colors may vary, based upon brightness, angles and perspective in which they are viewed
