Swedish “Kavalkad” bench in teak for Säffle Möbelfabrik, slatted top, chamfered legs with stretchers, S-Design series, original mark present. “Kavalkad” bench by Yngvar Sandström for Säffle Möbelfabrik, part of the S-Design series from the early/mid-1960s. Teak construction with evenly spaced slatted top secured to side rails, softly rounded edges and expressive grain. Legs with chamfered profile, gentle inner arch and stabilizing stretchers. Original maker’s stamp beneath the seat. Good condition. May show signs of age. Please pay attention to the photographs. AF587
