You are looking at a beautiful combined and extended cutlery cassette partly designed by Gustav Beran approximately 1959/1960 produced by the merged companies Zilfa Zilverfabriek Begeer & Van Kempen. The set is silver plated 90. All pieces are marked as you can see on the photos.
This beautiful cutlery set comes in its original wooden off-white beige case. The lockers are new. As well as the slot which keeps the knives in place. The set is used but in a very good vintage condition. Only one spoon has a minor chip. Pretty difficult to record the cutlery precisely on photo. I made a very short video but unfortunately, I can’t upload it. Most of the flatware has not been used intensely.

Gustav was born in 1912 in Austria. He was a pupil of the famous Viennese designer and architect Josef Hoffmann. From 1934 to 1977 he worked in the Netherlands. In 1960 he became Artistic Director of the Dutch Royal van Kempen Begeer & Vos. He designed stylish silver flatware, fruit bowls and candlesticks with a very modern touch and smooth contours.
