These elegant clothes hangers were designed by Roald Steen Hansen for World Pictures Copenhagen. The design is characterized by a refined, organic form typical of mid-twentieth-century Scandinavian design. Presented at MoMA New York.
The hangers are crafted from bent beech wood, creating a warm, natural look and a robust construction. The ingenious design consists of a round wall mount upon which the gracefully shaped hanger rests. The light wood color and flowing lines make this a functional and aesthetic object.
