Mahogany bedside table produced by Nordiska Kompaniet in the 1960s, reflecting the refined craftsmanship and restrained elegance for which the Swedish manufacturer is renowned. The lines are classic and well balanced: straight square-section legs support a compact body visually lightened by the lower shelf, adding both structure and rhythm. The top is framed by a raised gallery edge on three sides, a subtle detail that defines the silhouette and recalls Nordic cabinetmaking traditions. Founded in Stockholm in 1902, Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) became a benchmark for high-end Scandinavian design, working with leading designers and emphasizing materials, proportion and fine craftsmanship.
