The doll radiates warmth and elegance and reflects Kiyoshi Kobayashi's refined craftsmanship and deep-rooted family tradition. This beautiful example of folk art not only represents the Yamagata tradition but also tells the story of a lineage dedicated to the preservation and further development of Japanese kokeshi heritage. The height is 26 cm; please view the photos for the condition. Please note: the kokeshi dolls are not new, so there will always be scratches, discoloration, and/or cracks present to a greater or lesser extent.
