Description: Offered: A beautiful, rare vintage "Fat Lava" pendant lamp made of heavy ceramic from the 60s/70s. An absolute mood setter and a unique eye-catcher for lovers of mid-century modern, boho, or retro interiors! The lamp is made of high-quality earthenware and features a characteristic, thick glaze (Fat Lava style) in warm brown and beige tones. The bottom rim has a beautifully cut-out arched pattern, creating a unique and atmospheric play of light to the sides when the lamp is lit. This type of quality ceramic was successfully released in the 70s by top manufacturers such as Herda and various West German ateliers. The lamp hangs from a sturdy, original metal chain that completes its robust character. Specifications: Style: Mid-Century Modern / Retro / Fat Lava / Boho. Period: 1960s / 1970s.
