This iconic pendant lamp, the Fun 1DM model, was designed in 1964 by renowned Danish designer Verner Panton. Its design is characterized by a cascading structure that creates a captivating visual and acoustic presence in the room.
The lamp consists of numerous round mother-of-pearl discs attached to delicate metal rings and suspended from a multi-tiered frame. This construction conceals the light source and provides warm, diffused illumination, while the discs produce a soft, soothing sound when exposed to a gentle breeze.
