A stunning, rare pair of rocket lamps from the 1950s/1960s.
These two matching lamps, a table lamp and a floor lamp, are truly special. They are original spun fiberglass rocket lamps that were very popular in British homes in the 1950s and 1960s. This pair of lamps is not only special because they are a matching pair, but also because they have a patterned surface. This is quite rare, as they were usually solid colors (somewhere between cream, yellow, orange, and, more rarely, red). These truly striking lamps are a real talking point at a gathering of friends :D
They are in excellent condition for their age (as can be seen in the photos). The wiring has recently been replaced, but the sockets are still the British Byonete sockets (each comes with an adapter so that regular Edison bulbs can be used).
