Antique fruit bowl from the renowned French earthenware factory Sarreguemines. This is an authentic piece of majolica (also known as barbotine) from the turn of the century (approx. 1890-1920). Subsequently, "made in France" was used instead of "France".
The bowl stands on an elegant base and is decorated with a lively relief of various fruits, including pears, strawberries, and plums, hand-painted in bright colors.
The underside is marked with the stamp "SARREGUEMINES FRANCE" and the production number "3924". Height is 12 cm, width is 23.5 cm.
The fruit bowl is in good condition.
