A characteristic ceramic tray from the Art Nouveau period, manufactured around 1910. This design is distinguished by the refined, hand-painted floral decoration typical of early twentieth-century applied art.
The round tray consists of a sturdy earthenware base, set in a metal rim with two elegant handles. The botanical motif depicts wild roses in soft pastel and autumnal tones, complemented by a bumblebee and a butterfly. The handwritten decoration number 1798 is located on the underside. The tray rests on four original metal feet, making the object both functional and decorative.
The object is in good, authentic condition befitting its age. The ceramic has retained its original luster and the metal construction is structurally intact.
This tray looks excellent in a classic or eclectic interior. It functions as an elegant serving platter on a coffee table or as a refined decorative element in a display cabinet.
