This is an authentic Amsterdam School side table, manufactured by Firma Wed. Herm. Clement from Goes. The design is characterized by the expressive form language and striking inlay work typical of the early twentieth century.
The table is constructed of wood and features an octagonal top with a detailed star-shaped intarsia pattern in contrasting wood types. The robust, wavy legs and the integrated lower shelf emphasize the architectural approach of the Art Deco period. An original brass nameplate from the furniture factory, founded in 1885, confirms its provenance.
The furniture is in a condition befitting its age, retaining its original character and patina. The construction is solid and the historical details have been well preserved.
This side table serves as a strong historical accent in a classic or eclectic interior. The piece pairs well with other wooden furniture and offers a functional surface with a rich design history.
